Rules and Regulations

The Contest:

The Contest runs from Dec 2011 to Feb 28th 2012 inclusive (the "Contest Period").

How to Enter:

There is one way to enter:

(1) Visit www.ski-lakeridge.com by Feb 18th (the "Contest Deadline") and complete all mandatory contest fields on the on-line ballot, including name, e-mail address and receive one entry by clicking "Submit". Each person is subject to a limit of one entry by this method. No purchase necessary.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to enter, you must be a resident of Canada. You are not eligible if you are an employee, representative or agent of Lakeridge Ski Resort.

The Prize:

There are two (2) prizes available to be won, consisting of 2 night pass for the 2012/2013 season.

The Selection:

On March 4th the selection committee meet at Lakeridge Ski Resort to review all eligible entries received before the Contest Deadline.  The entrants whose entry is selected and has been identified as a potential winner will be advised as of March 4th 2012 in Uxbridge, Ontario and will be notified by e-mail. If Lakeridge, acting reasonably, cannot contact the selected entrant within two weeks of the draw date, or if such person is contacted within that time but is otherwise ineligible or did not comply with the Contest Rules, Lakeridge will then make reasonable efforts to contact the first back-up entrant within two further weeks, failing which, the next back-up entrant, and so on, until a selected entrant is contacted and is found to be eligible and in compliance with these Contest Rules.

To Win:

The selected entrant will also be required to sign a Declaration of Compliance and Release of Liability that confirms compliance with the Contest Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded, consent to publicity referred to below, and releases Lakeridge’s, its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies from any liability in any matter whatsoever as a result of or relating to the contest or Prize awarded. Declaration and Release documents must be returned within the period indicated on those documents or the selected entrant may be disqualified and the Prize forfeited. By accepting this Prize, the winner gives permission and consent to use of his/her name, address, photograph, voice in any publicity carried out by Lakeridge and/or its agencies, without compensation and without limitation.

The selected entrant will be named the winner no later than March 5th, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. (ET) and announced online at www.ski-lakeridge.com

General:

All contest entries become the property of Lakeridge. No correspondence will be sent by Lakeridge except to contestants who are requesting Contest Rules by mail or requesting a list of winners (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). Lakeridge is not responsible for entries that cannot be submitted or are void for any reason whatsoever. By entering, each entrant agrees to abide by the Contest Rules. Lakeridge reserves the right to terminate or amend this Contest at any time in any way, without notice if any factor, in Lakeridge’s sole opinion, interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Contest Rules or makes continuation infeasible, subject. Only the Prize described in these Contest Rules will be awarded in this Contest. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

Data Collection:

By entering the contest and voluntarily providing his/her personal information, each entrant consents and agrees to Lakeridge’s collection, use, and disclosure of the entrant's personal information for the purpose of administering the contest, including contacting any entrant in relation to the contest and disclosing the list of winners. Lakeridge will not use an entrant's personal information for any other reason, nor will Lakeridge otherwise disclose it to any third party. Only those employees and agents of Lakeridge who require the entrant's personal information will have access to it. Entrants' personal information is kept at Lakeridge Ski Resort and entrants' have rights of access to and rectification of their personal information.
