7 Week Group Lesson Program

Experience the thrill of skiing in a fun and supportive environment with our Ski and Snowboard Group Lessons. Receive expert instruction, personalized feedback, and a social atmosphere that makes learning to ski or snowboard both enjoyable and effective. Group lessons are offered from Never Ever to Advanced Level for skiing and from Never Ever to Intermediate Level for snowboarding.

7-Week Group Lessons

Programs begin Saturday January 9th or Sunday January 10th and run for 7 weeks
For Ages 7+
Programs do not run on Family Weekend, February 13th or 14th
All programs will have one make up day with a lesson if the hill closes during the scheduled lessons. If the hill does not close, a bonus day without a lesson will be provided in week 8
Programs include a 1.5 hour lesson per day plus a 4-hour lift ticket for day of the lesson. (Lessons are not transferable)
If you are unable to attend all 7 sessions you will forfeit your missed lesson(s)
Lessons go out on time! It is your responsibility to arrive 5 minutes prior to the beginning of your lesson. Lakeridge will not assist with connecting late arrivals with their groups. If you miss your lesson due to lateness you forfeit your lesson.
Minimum of 6 persons required at the same ability level to run a group
Lessons run in all weather conditions. example: rain, snow, warm and cold temperatures. In the event of extreme weather or unsafe conditions deemed by Lakeridge Resort, your lesson will be rescheduled to week 8.
2 hour parent lift ticket available at $43.20 + HST for the parent of a child in lessons

Ski Lesson Levels

Exploration Bronze : Can make snowplow turns
Exploration Silver : Starts turn in a wedge (pizza) becomes parallel (French Fries)
Exploration Gold : Basic parallel turns (on green runs)
Adventure Bronze : Basic parallel turns and basic pole plant (on blue runs)
Adventure Silver : Linking parallel turns and uses edging (on blue runs)
Adventure Gold : Edging and short radius turns on blue runs
Performance Bronze : Varies turn shape
Performance Silver : Centre stance and maintains constant speed and control on black runs
Performance Gold : Instructor Level

Snowboard Lesson Levels

New : Still developing balance on board edge
Basics : Can balance on heal & toe edge of board, can move down the hill in a pendulum motion
Turning : Can make S shaped turns
Cruising : Has relaxed body position while riding
Ripping : Maintains fluid movements at high speeds while turning

Juniors (Ages 7 – 17)

Regular $873.35 + HST | Anytime Pass Holder Price : $723.35 + HST

Never Ever : (NE) You have never skied before
Beginner : Consistent snowplow turns or mix of parallel & snowplow turns (comfortable mounting and dismounting chair lift without assistance)
Intermediate : Consistent parallel skis when making turns
Advanced : Edging and varied turn shape with controlled speed using parallel skis on advanced terrain. (Advanced level snowboarders please refer to the Private lesson page)

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS AND CHANGES

1. You may qualify for a refund prior to December 21, 2026. A $75.00 + HST administration fee will apply.
2. No refunds after December 21, 2026.
3. No-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
4. Lesson time or program changes can be made at no cost subject to availability up to October 31, 2026. After this date, changes will be subject to a $25.00 + HST admin fee. No changes after December 21, 2026.
